Sequel to The eagle and the serpent. Natasha has a relationship with the storyteller, and has left a period with hard times with her parents behind her. After Natasha's freedom has been realized, the storyteller returns to his homeland to prepare for a final return to Mexico, to share his life with this Latin American beauty. The story continues, with disgressions to esoteric dialogs. But life in Mexico does not proceed as was planned. Unexpected events and intrigues follow, with a surprising plot.
